KT Japan Officially Launches 'tt mobile' in Korea for Koreans Planning a Long-Term Stay in Japan
KT Japan has officially launched tt mobile in Korea, an MVNO service that lets Koreans planning a long-term stay in Japan apply for a Japanese phone number in Korean, with just a passport, before they leave Korea. Two plans are available with a passport: the Working Holiday & Student Plan and the Business Plan.
KT Japan Begins Accepting Advertising on "K Magazine", Its Korea Travel, Beauty and K-POP Media
KT Japan has prepared a media kit for K Magazine, the Korea media outlet within ttshop, its official prepaid SIM/eSIM store for Korean KT lines, and has begun accepting advertising and tie-up placements. Its roughly 490 articles cover Korean travel and Seoul sightseeing alongside K-beauty, food, fashion, K-POP and drama, with new posts three times a week.

KT Japan began the open beta of its Japan-based MVNO service, tt mobile, on July 17, 2026. Pre-registration for the Business Plan is first available in Korea, with plans to gradually expand eligibility and coverage.
