KT Japan Launches Open Beta for 'tt mobile' MVNO Service in Japan
KT Japan has launched the open beta of tt mobile, its mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) service for Japan, starting July 17, 2026.
For this open beta, pre-registration for the Business Plan is first available in Korea. The Business Plan can be signed up for with a passport alone, allowing customers to complete registration in Korea before traveling to Japan.
Key Features of the Business Plan
- checkSign up with a passport alone: Residence Card and My Number Card are not required.
- checkUnlimited domestic calls within Japan: Included as standard (international calls are billed separately).
- checkKorean-language support: Available for registration and inquiries.
tt mobile plans to gradually expand its plan lineup and service scope going forward. In addition to the Basic Plan for Residence Card and My Number Card holders, KT Japan is also preparing a personal plan for students and working holiday visa users.
